Welcome to Magic Book Seekers – a pixel-based action reimagination of the legendary MMO AdventureQuest Worlds! Explore a nostalgic world revived with modern mechanics, where you fight in real-time battles, collect Magic Books to master a variety of unique skills, and socialize with other players in online adventures.
NOTE: if you can't play, that means hosting is expired.
Key Features
- ✨ Magic Book System (Switch Classes):
- Collect 7+ Magic Books (such as "Ninja," "Healer," or "Mage") – each with unique skills and distinct fighting styles! - Switch magic books at any time for the perfect boss-fighting tactics!
- ⚔️ Server-Authoritative Action Combat:
- Experience responsive real-time combat with 3 dynamic skills (basic attack, additional attack, and ultimate). - Enemies are server-generated for a balanced challenge and anti-cheat!
- 👥 Multiplayer Living World:
- Chat online directly with other players (like AQW!) for collaboration or impromptu PvP. - There are areas where PvP is allowed and not allowed.
- 📜 Quest System Nostalgia:
- Simple mission mechanics and a light story for early development.
- 🎨 Old but New Aesthetic:
- Old: Retro pixel art, classic quest box, 2D top-down
- New: Smooth action combat, modern pixel art design, and dedicated servers for a smooth multiplayer experience!
Controller and Tutorial
- W, A, S, D for movement, or use the left virtual joystick for mobile.
- Click anywhere to attack at the mouse position or use the right virtual joystick for mobile.
- Use the scroll/wheel to change skill, or use keyboard 1, 2, 3, or click on the skill icon for desktop or mobile users.
- Click on the NPC bubble to interact with them.
- Go to the green box area for healing
The controller will feel like a Minecraft controller

New: The genre shifts from turn-based to real-time pixel art action, with server-authoritative technology and newer web engine technology.
